🌍 Bringing European-Style Craft Beer to Minneapolis

Eubier, LLC is acquiring an existing brewery to serve world-class, European-style craft beer in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis.

👋 What We’re Building

Minneapolis has over 80 craft breweries—but only five focus on European-style beer, and none are located in Southwest Minneapolis. We’re changing that. Eubier, LLC is taking over LynLake Brewery—an operational brewery with full production capability—to serve an underrepresented style of beer in a thriving, culturally rich neighborhood.

🚹 The Problem

Craft beer is everywhere, but truly great European-style beer remains hard to find locally.

Consumers who appreciate the balance, tradition, and drinkability of these styles face limited options—they often must travel across the city, search for canned versions from national brands in liquor stores, or settle for mass-produced alternatives in bars.

💡 Our Solution

We’re launching with production-ready infrastructure, a respected brewmaster, and a clear strategy. Our initial goal is to produce 335 barrels annually, with the capacity to grow to 1,340 BBLs. We’ll sell directly from the taproom, participate in local events, and expand into off-sale distribution (bars, restaurants, retail). Gross margins in craft beer average around 80%—our model is designed for strong profitability from day one.

📱 Marketing

Eubier has hired brewery marketing specialist Get Hoptimized! to generate additional foot traffic via geographically-targeted social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.  These campaigns offer discounts to consumers, who when accessing the discount, enter their email address.  This grows the business email distribution, which is a follow-up to generate more interest and sales, as well as providing a metric of the effectiveness of the advertising.

Additionally, consumers in large, local apartment complexes near the brewery are being addressed through direct handout of flyers and mailers.

🎯 Market Opportunity

Uptown Minneapolis is ready. It’s home to a dense, diverse, and beer-savvy population—and zero European-style breweries. With a fully licensed facility and an experienced team, we can activate this opportunity immediately. Long-term, we plan to scale distribution to meet growing demand for classic, clean beer styles.

💰 Why We're Raising Capital Now

The sellers want out of this business and are ready to retire.  They have significantly dropped the price of the brewery, creating a perfect window of opportunity for us to complete the purchase.

We're raising funds to:

  • Complete the acquisition of LynLake Brewery by July 1, 2025.

  • Begin brewing operations immediately

  • Launch local marketing and taproom events

  • Expand production and distribution

The minimum raise secures the purchase and covers working capital. The maximum allows us to invest in growth and reach more customers, faster. Timing is critical—this is a limited opportunity to acquire a turnkey facility with built-in market access.

📈 How We Make Money

  • Taproom Sales (high-margin, community-focused)

    • Main revenue channels are on-sale customers - locals who come in after work, commuters on their way home, enjoying a beer in the taproom.

    • Expansion includes extending advertising through surrounding neighborhoods, taking advantage of the lack of craft beer breweries in SW Minneapolis.

  • Event Hosting & Merch

    • Events can be easily scheduled through the website and provide additional on-sale revenue.

  • Off-Sale Distribution (bars, restaurants, retail)

    • Longer-term expansion includes distribution to retailers.

We target break-even in Year 2, with 10% year-over-year growth. Investors are projected to be repaid within 5 years.

Our brewmaster, Andrew Ruggles, has over 30 years of brewing experience in Minneapolis and is well known in the craft beer community. Our focus on European-style beers gives us a clear niche in a crowded local market.

đŸ™‹â€â™€ïž FAQs

What makes Eubier different from other breweries?

We specialize in European-style craft beer—balanced, clean, and traditional. Most breweries in Minneapolis lean toward hop-heavy or experimental styles. We’re filling a local and stylistic gap.

Why are you buying an existing brewery instead of starting from scratch?

It saves time and money. The equipment, licensing, and staff are already in place. We avoid the startup phase and start selling immediately after closing.

Who is your brewmaster?

Andrew Ruggles is a well-known figure in the Minneapolis brewing scene with 30+ years of experience. He’s known for brewing consistent, high-quality beer that wins loyalty.

How will you attract customers?

We’ll attract customers through targeted social media campaigns that promote new products and our new brewmaster, while growing our email list. Direct outreach to nearby apartment complexes will further boost local awareness and foot traffic.

What are your growth plans?

We’ll begin with local taproom and event-based sales. As demand builds, we’ll scale to off-sale distribution (bars, restaurants, retail) across the region.

What’s the minimum raise for?

The minimum raise completes the purchase of LynLake Brewery and covers operating expenses to launch. The maximum allows us to invest in growth, including expanded distribution and marketing.

How do I get my money back?

We project breaking even in Year 2. Investors are expected to be repaid over 5 years through revenue growth and profit-sharing terms as defined in our offering.

Invest today. Let’s bring better beer to Minneapolis, together.
